The following is a list of courses offered by NeXT, some of which we were certified to offer and which we have student and instructor notes.

Training Path

Introduction to Interpersonal Computing
To familiarize the participant with the multimedia capability and fundamental concepts of interpersonal computing on NeXT! computers and to enable the participant to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a work group

Technical Introduction to Interpersonal Computing
To familiarize the technical participant with the multimedia capability and fundamental concepts of interpersonal computing on NeXT! computers and to prepare the participant for NeXT system administration or hardware service courses.

Programming NeXT Computers
To enable the participant to use the NeXTSTEP! development environment and programming tools to write software applications for NeXT! computers.

3.0 Entry Point
To enable students to describe and use the new features of NeXTSTEP! Release 3. At the end of the course, students will be able to identify areas of their existing code that need modification and will be able to use the tools in the new software kits to create applications.

Programming with DBKit
To enable the participant to use the NeXT! Database Kit! (DBKit) object library and programming tools to write interactive end-user applications for accessing databases.

NeXT System Administration
To enable the participant to set up and maintain a network of NeXT! computers.

NeXT System Administration for UNIX Experts
To enable an expert UNIX" system administrator to set up and maintain a network of NeXT computers.

NeXT Computers in a Mixed UNIX Environment
To enable the participant to incorporate NeXT! computers into an existing network of UNIX-based systems.

NeXT System Administration for Service Technicians
To enable the participant to perform basic system administration tasks for a network of NeXT computers.

NeXT Hardware Service
To fully qualify the participant as a NeXT
