Confidant
Confidant provided public key encryption from the NeXTmail application. Public key encryption enabled any two people to send secure e-mail without needing to exchange keys in secret. Because Confidant worked from within Mail, users could continue to use the same interface for sending and receiving secure encrypted NeXTmail.
