TOP SECRET
TOP SECRET software was developed to protect privacy of communication between people doing research and classified work. NeXTmail and other types of communication software could be used with encrypted files. TOP SECRET could also be used for encryption of confidential files on the hard disk in order to protect them from unauthorized access.
TOP SECRET worked on all types of files. The level of protection was adjustable. For increased security, you could use several different keys in order 10 "open" a file. With each key in the hands of a different person, loss of one or several keys would not jeopardize security of protected files. Keys and algorithms could be changed and modified in order to customize TOP SECRET for a particular application and level of security.
TOP SECRET was based on the latest algorithms in the chaos theory. For all practical purposes, probability of unauthorized decoding of encrypted information was equal to zero.
