solidThinking
solidThinking Release 2 was a completely modular 3D environment. It included modules for Modeling, Animation and Import/Export. With all the power of the first release, winner of die 1993 NeXTWORLD magazine Best of Breed Award for 3D and CAD programs, solidThinking Release 2 introduced a new interface, as well as unique features.
solidThinking Release 2 allowed you to design complex 3D models, modify their shapes, surface characteristics and positions in a structured hierarchical environment. You could add an unlimited number of light sources, position your camera and generate a photorealistic representation of your scene at a specified resolution.
Industrial and interior designers, architects, town-planners, advertising managers, publishing consultants, video producers and artists gained from its power and flexibility thus improving creativity and productivity.
