Visual PostScript Editing

Without any specialized knowledge, with Tailor, you could graphically edit PostScript documents, effortlessly and cleanly. You could cut pieces from a document and paste them somewhere else. Or you could recover text paragraphs for use in your favorite word processor. All this was independent of the platform where the document originated. While this is common place today with PDF, in the time before PDF, Postscript was the universal output format. Only Tailor on NextSTEP allowed you to edit your save to Postscript files no matter what the source application.
