1 VISION
1 VISION was the first modular NEXTSTEP environment for mission-critical applications in the desktop publishing and printing industries. 1 VISION gave both users and developers the optimum basis for vector and raster graphics, layout and design, even sound and video, by offering a single working environment.
Used as a platform for VISIONtools and VISIONlinks, 1 VISION offered users unique features such as full color separation, output control (for example, calibration), clipping, an on-line help system, and a ledger line element that was also available in perspective and isometric modes. All elements could be rotated, skewed, mirrored, sized, stretched, or compressed.
