NXFax
NXFax was intelligent fax software for NEXTSTEP.
Sending and receiving faxes was fast and efficient, with
all the advantages of Display PostScript imaging. NXFax
supported a variety of fax modems, including award-winning
ZyXEL modems. NXFax took full advantage of fax address
books, cover pages and a host of other NeXTStep fax
options, including group faxing, timed transmissions,
instant archiving and automatic printing of incoming faxes.
Outgoing call transparency and adaptive answering ensure
compatibility with communications programs such as UUCP,
SLIP, tip, Kcrmit, Microphone, DialupIP and Marble
Teleconnect. NXFax also shared fax modems with other
computers running NeXTSTEP on a local network.
