KingBeats Rhythm Collections for NeXTStep computers were collections of hundreds of rhythm patterns for use with the Rhythm King application. Each KingBeats collection included more than 200 patterns, fills, intros and endings in a variety of styles and tempos. Users could load KingBeats into the Rhythm King application and customize the patterns to their style. Included with KingBeats were sound files and drum sets you could play right out of the box.
Their "Current Collections" included Modem and Old Time. The Modern Collection included Funk, Rock, Slow Rock, Punk Rock, Rap, Hard Rock, House, Country, Fusion, Reggae and more. The Old Time Collection included Cha Cha. Samba, Waltz, Dixie, Swing, couldCan, Polka, Bossa, Tango, and many more. Each collection included pattern sheets for each pattern so you could easily sec the sounds and pattern layout.
