LaserMan
LaserMan was a controller application that allowed you to control laser disc players—and any other device with an RS-232 interface - from a computer running NeXTStep via the serial port.
LaserMan could be used as a standalone application with a "remote control" window on the computer screen, or as an interface for other applications. Using a Speaker/Listener interface, any application could control a laser disc player through LaserMan. LaserMan could be used together with Xanthus CraftMan to produce laser disc-based multimedia applications.
