Interactive Voice System

Interactive Voice System (IVS) was a unique integration tool for phones, faxes, and workstations in the Enterprise information environment. Client/server integration was based on a single UNIX processor and the Enterprise liost facility, using SNA, X.25, or TCP/IP protocols.

Emerging applications such as interactive voice banking, home shopping, call center management, and voice mail are easily built with IVS Builder intuitive graphical-oriented interface and automated design-oriented NEXTSTEP for Intel processors. Many voice and fax processing cards are fully supported.

IVS Server provides the facility to edit services online, quickly and efficiently. Detailed usage statistics and activity monitoring are standard features. The speaker-independent voice recognition option allowed the service to respond to spoken words by any caller within a specific vocabulary for commands or daca entry purposes.
