SpeedDeX
SpeedDeX was a multimedia flat-tile personal information manager and database, capable of Storing images. Rich Text Format (RTF) text, and drag-and-drop flies. SpeedDeX used a card stack metaphor with the ability to search several stacks simultaneously. You might think SpeedDeX is just another electronic rolodex - instead, it's like stacks of notes on your desk, giving you instant access cojust the note you need.
Cards could be of any length and could contain any type of file, image, or sound. Ten stacks of more than 10,000 cards could be searched in seconds. You could view information you're searching for by card or by summary. You could print one card, several, or an entire deck. Data could be imported from Macintosh QuickDex, Rolonex, and cab-delimited ASCII files and from other SpeedDeX files. Data could be exported as RTF or ASCII. SpeedDeX worked with NEXTSTEP Release 3 or later.
