WA-2000
WA-2000 was a high-performance imaging and archiving system based on a client/server architecture. The application was divided into separate, but integrated modules: a scanner controller supporting a variery of hardware, a fast and optimized screen previewer, a central document manager, an index database implemented on ORACLE or SYBASE SQL Server and a document archive supporting hard disks, disk-array systems, optical and magneto-optical media as well as jukeboxes. Special care was taken to implement a high level of security and control.
WA-2000 was designed for small up to very large companies with a NEXTSTEP or a mixed UNIX environment.
