InfoMed was an object-oriented healthcare information system for physicians and multispecialty group practices. The system consisted of a complete practice management application built with a stace-of'-the-art persistent store object database known as ObjectBase. InfoMed provided the framework for the complete integration of clinical, financial and administrative information. Inf'oMed addressed the most demanding needs of healthcare professionals with the flexibility to adapt quickly to the dynamic changes in the industry.
InfoMed focused on the financial and administrative requirements of progressive healthcare practices, including: registration, patient and resource scheduling, itemized posting of receipts, managed care reporting, insurance eligibility verification, multiple coverage types per patient, electronic claims submission, practice analysis, office/hospital link and practice marketing.
InfoMed provided the capability for complete executive information reporting, interactive computer-based instruction and user-designed report generation. InfoMed had the unique capability to be easily customized to meet the user's needs and preferences.
