MediaTools
MediaTools was a collection of multimedia tools that helped you get more from NeXTSTEP:
- TIFFCompress and SNDCompress let you compress and decompress TIFF graphic and NeXTSTEP sound files, respectively.
- SndCollector allowed you drag and drop sound files and play them back in the background.
- ImageCollcctor allowed you drag and drop image files including TIFF and EPS and then copy them into your applications.
- CinemaOne allowed you play back .anim files and sound files on a movie screen.
- SndControI let you set up start up and shut down sound files to play.
- BackDrop was a screen background application that allowed you select patterns to display on your screen’s background.
- ScreenTime was a screen saver that allowed you play back .anim files and sound files.
- FontAide allowed you view your fonts for quick comparisons.
