ticc
ticc synchronizes the NeXTStep system time with the absolute time of a scientific atomic clock, which was accurate to about one second in a million years. Time signals generated by this clock are transmitted by a German radio station and can be received throughout central Europe.
ticc included a radio receiver tuned to this radio station. The software precisely set the system time with a deviation of less than one millisecond. ticc could be used as a reference clock for the Network Time Protocol in accordance RFC-1059, synchronizing a whole network of computers.
