WorldClock

WorldClock allowed you see what time it was anywhere around the world. It also offered a time stamp service and let you set alarms in many formats: daily, weekly, monthly, timed interval, or UNIX cron style. The alarms could bring up reminders, open files, run shell commands, or send messages.

You could replace Preferences in your dock with WorldClock and still be able to reach Preferences quickly. If you double-clicked WorldClock's icon while the program was running, it would start up Preferences. WorldClock provided multiple clock faces to choose from and supported the addition of custom clocks.
