Swoop'n


Paget Swoop'n was a set of five utilities for creating envelopes, sorting lists, quickly totalling numbers, printing selective text and compressing files. For example, you could use Swoop'n'Send to create the envelope templates you wanted and then print them by highlighting the address in a memo or invoice. Swoop'n' utilities ran from the Services menu and were available from any application that handled text.

Paget Swoop’n’ made it easy for you to print envelopes; sum numbers in a text document; print, save or fax selective portions of a document; organize text by sorting and group and compress files. You choose the utility you want from the Services menu right within your text or word processor; Swoop’n’ would perform the service and replace the results directly into your document or into your file directory.

Paget Swoop’n’ provided five timesaving utilities for NeXT users, accessible directly from your word processor, text processor or the File Viewer, directly through the Services menu. Highlight an address and print an envelope; swoop several rows of expense report data in a memo and sum the numbers; highlight the text in an illustration application and print, save or spell check it. Swoop several file names in the File Viewer and group and compress the files.
